As a School Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring students arrive at school safely and on time. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students along assigned routes in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during loading, unloading, and while on the bus.
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the bus in a clean and orderly condition.
- Monitor student behavior to ensure a safe and orderly environment on the bus.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify mechanical safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, parents, and school personnel regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Patience, reliability, and a strong commitment to child safety.
- Ability to work early morning hours and occasional evening hours.
