Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to assigned routes and schedules
- Implement student discipline protocols per district policies
- Complete accurate daily trip documentation
- Ensure proper child loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- DMV printout showing clean driving record
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Clear TB test within last 12 months
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate wheelchair lifts
- Background clearance through DOJ/FBI
