Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students along designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly behavior and enforce safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adapt routes for field trips and special events
- Complete daily trip logs and maintenance reports
- Follow all California DMV and DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb bus steps
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Child safety certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules
