Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely transport students along designated routes to and from school.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with students, parents, and school staff.
- Enforce safety rules and procedures while on the bus.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
- Communicate any route issues or student incidents immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to work early mornings and adhere to a fixed schedule.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, responsibility, and a passion for working with children.
