Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete accurate incident and maintenance reports
- Adhere to NJ state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid NJ Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage student groups calmly
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Flexible availability for morning/afternoon shifts
- Previous childcare/school experience preferred
