Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Follow strict safety protocols during loading/unloading and transit
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents, students, and staff
- Adapt to route changes and emergency procedures
- Ensure student discipline and comfort during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Satisfactory background check and driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/afternoons)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (provided if needed)
