Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school district safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with patience and positive reinforcement
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete daily logbooks and incident reports accurately
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with P/S endorsement
- Minimum 1-year commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and DOT physical examination
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Denver metro area routes
