Responsibilities
- Safely operate school bus routes following designated schedules and traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Supervise student behavior and maintain a safe, respectful environment
- Securely operate bus equipment including emergency exits and safety systems
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors
- Adhere to all district policies and state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage student safety and discipline
- Flexible availability for morning and afternoon shifts
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
