Responsibilities
- Provide safe, courteous transportation to riders via the CityRide Connect app
- Maintain clean, well-maintained vehicle with required documentation
- Optimize routes using real-time navigation to ensure timely pickups/drop-offs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and CityRide's safety protocols
- Submit trip reports and maintain accurate ride records
- Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction
- Monitor app for ride requests and respond promptly to availability
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of clean driving record
- Proof of auto insurance meeting Illinois state minimums
- Smartphone with reliable data connection and GPS capability
- Must pass background check and vehicle inspection
- Ability to navigate Chicago's streets efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible availability during peak hours (evenings/weekends)
- No commercial driving experience required
