Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local deliveries within the San Diego metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling techniques.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and strictly adhere to DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of local San Diego roads, traffic patterns, and neighborhoods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
