Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently within a local radius of Jacksonville, FL.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with loading/unloading.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and time management abilities.
