Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on local delivery routes within the Nashville metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using standard equipment, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients and stakeholders.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
