Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within the New York metro area efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all deliveries are made with a professional attitude, maintaining a clean and friendly demeanor with customers.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily for cleanliness and report any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
- Accurately record delivery times, signatures, and any issues encountered during the route.
- Practice proper loading techniques to ensure package safety and vehicle balance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for training purposes (if not provided by company).
