Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial clients across the Boston metro area efficiently and safely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, obtaining signatures, and ensuring packages are placed securely.
- Utilize the company mobile application to track routes, update status in real-time, and log mileage.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Handle returns and damaged goods according to company policy and customer satisfaction protocols.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while navigating local streets.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior delivery experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and digital logging.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
