Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures when required
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle with regular inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and assist with basic upkeep
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery tracking apps
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from shift locations
