Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to local addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Verify delivery details, maintain accurate records, and obtain customer signatures when required
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Handle packages with care, including proper loading/unloading and climate-sensitive items
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members regarding delivery status
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or personal)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with attention to route optimization
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- High school diploma or equivalent; background check required
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
