Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Portland metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update delivery status
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage or loss
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (minimum $100k coverage)
- Smartphone with GPS capability and data plan
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic knowledge of Portland streets and neighborhoods
