Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, food, and goods across Raleigh metropolitan area
- Load/unload deliveries with care, ensuring items remain undamaged during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, obtain customer signatures, and resolve delivery discrepancies
- Provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and timely updates
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company delivery standards
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery time windows
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Proficient with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality for scheduled deliveries
