Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Navigate efficiently between delivery points in Santa Ana and surrounding areas.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff to ensure high satisfaction.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to fleet management.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in freight or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of road conditions, traffic patterns, and cargo handling safety.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.
- Must be available for part-time shifts as scheduled.
