Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport freight to designated delivery points within the San Antonio area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all pickups and drop-offs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in freight hauling.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
