Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques.
- Navigate local and regional routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and schedules.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing our brand to customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations or DUIs within the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement procedures and cargo handling.
