Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between Jacksonville terminals and client locations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional freight or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
