Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within the Denver metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations
- Report maintenance issues and assist with basic vehicle upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
