Responsibilities
- Safely operate freight trucks to transport goods between warehouses and distribution centers
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Secure cargo using proper loading techniques and safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to clients and operations managers
- Maintain clean and organized truck interiors
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of freight or commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securing procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
