Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction debris, soil, and aggregate materials
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict weight regulations and route compliance for urban hauling
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean vehicles and report mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with DOT and California environmental regulations
- Document delivery receipts and maintain accurate hauling records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area traffic patterns and hauling routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and safety protocols
- DOT physical certification and medical card current
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and hauling best practices
