Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks to transport loose materials (soil, gravel, sand) to and from construction sites.
- Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and dispatch regarding job progress and delays.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving dump trucks or heavy equipment.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads and endure long shifts on your feet.
- Familiarity with local Seattle roadways and construction sites is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
