Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport soil, gravel, asphalt, and construction debris
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and complete daily vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials at job sites using proper equipment techniques
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and report maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatchers and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Document trip details using electronic logging systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of local Bakersfield/Kern County routes
