Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate Detroit metro routes efficiently while meeting delivery timelines
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Detroit metro area and industrial zones
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
