Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Long Beach area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at warehouse facilities
- Communicate delivery status updates via company mobile application
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach streets and surrounding areas
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and communication apps
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
- Pass background check and drug screening
