Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Secure packages in vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC streets and metro area
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
