Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Cargo: Safely load and unload shipments using proper equipment and techniques.
- Route Management: Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and handle delivery documentation accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Inventory Handling: Verify delivery quantities and ensure packages are undamaged.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record and meet MVR standards.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read maps or GPS devices.
- Experience: Previous driving experience is preferred but not always required.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
