Responsibilities
- Timely and safe delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with sorting and preparing packages for dispatch
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Basic knowledge of Portland metro area streets
- Reliable transportation to depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
