Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout San Diego
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers when needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and navigate stairs when necessary
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Reliable transportation to and from the Harbor Drive facility
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Availability to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
