Responsibilities
- Efficient Delivery: Safely transport packages to designated addresses in San Antonio and surrounding areas in a timely manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience and handling inquiries courteously.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and incident reports as required.
- Time Management: Plan routes efficiently to meet daily delivery targets while minimizing fuel consumption.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions, such as missed stops or address discrepancies, with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
- License Requirements: Valid Driverβs License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Vehicle Access: Access to a reliable personal vehicle with valid auto insurance and registration.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and tablet-based delivery management systems.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts to meet business demands.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write English.
