Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout the Portland metro area efficiently.
- Utilize the proprietary mobile application to navigate optimized routes and receive real-time delivery instructions.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure the safe handling of all shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and following delivery protocols (e.g., leaving packages at the door or coordinating secure drop-offs).
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Handle package documentation accurately, including proof of delivery and receipt handling.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities (iOS or Android) for app access.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatchers.
