Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses within the Miami metropolitan area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations to ensure the security of cargo and public safety.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness and mechanical issues before each shift and report any necessary maintenance.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card transactions accurately, and resolve delivery inquiries with a smile.
- Utilize the company's mobile app to update delivery statuses and communicate with dispatch in real-time.
- Ensure the timely completion of routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Class E Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local delivery (or willingness to use company vehicle).
- Ownership of a modern smartphone with a data plan and GPS capabilities.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar areas quickly.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
