Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in Long Beach, CA, and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Utilize handheld technology and navigation apps to plan efficient routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Inspect packages for damage before transit and report any issues immediately.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures where required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Access to a reliable vehicle in good working condition (insured and registered).
- Ownership of a smartphone (Android or iOS) for GPS and communication.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
