Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Kansas City metro area.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after routes to ensure they are clean, fueled, and in proper working order.
- Verify delivery addresses and handle packages with care to ensure zero damage or loss.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating clearly with clients.
- Utilize mobile applications for navigation, proof of delivery, and reporting.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation apps and smartphone technology.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local distribution center.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
