Responsibilities
- Transport goods to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive in the exact condition they were received.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Accurately complete digital logs and paperwork for each delivery route.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal vehicle and uniform.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Access to a reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and dispatch apps.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
