As a Delivery Driver with MetroCourier Services, you will be the face of our brand. You will ensure that our clients receive their packages safely and on time, contributing to a seamless logistics experience.
Responsibilities
- Efficient Deliveries: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Seattle area promptly and safely.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional and friendly service when handing over packages to customers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Route Optimization: Plan and follow efficient routes to minimize delivery time and fuel costs.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and inspection reports.
- Package Handling: Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or courier services is a plus but not mandatory.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone for GPS navigation and scanning applications.
