Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated residential and business addresses within Columbus and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Utilize company apps to update delivery statuses and manage schedules accurately.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages from the vehicle as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for accessing delivery apps and navigation tools.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
