Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Vehicle Care: Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, ensuring it is ready for the next shift.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a professional image and handling transactions if required.
- Logistics Management: Utilize handheld devices to track delivery status, manage routes, and update order information.
- Load & Unload: Manually load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle using dollies, hand trucks, and proper lifting techniques.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL not required for this position).
- Record: Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle (sedan, van, or SUV) with valid registration and insurance.
- Physical: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Technology: Proficiency with smartphones for GPS navigation and scanning.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
