Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and parcels to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using dollies, hand trucks, or other equipment.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon receipt of goods.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and change-making.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficient smartphone usage for navigation and delivery apps.
