Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods on overnight routes
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and proof of delivery
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) or valid driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with DC/Ohio road networks
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route tracking
- Reliable transportation to/from dispatch locations
