Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations within Memphis
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Communicate delivery status via mobile app to customers and dispatch
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse facilities
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Memphis street grid preferred
