Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential/commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle package discrepancies with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/deliveries
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Reliable transportation to/from starting point
- Basic math skills for handling cash payments when required
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
