Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in Virginia and surrounding areas.
- Obey traffic laws and practice safe driving habits at all times.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and proper mechanical condition before and after each shift.
- Interact professionally with customers, including receiving signatures and providing excellent service.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation and delivery updates.
- Load and unload packages efficiently from the delivery vehicle.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or damages immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of the local geography in Virginia.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable smartphone with internet access for navigation and logging.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
