Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and supplies to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly communication and problem-solving skills
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical safety standards
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing when required
- Report delivery issues, traffic delays, and customer feedback to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver packages safely
- Strong time management skills with punctuality and reliability
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Knowledge of Charlotte area neighborhoods and major thoroughfares
