Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Utilize GPS navigation technology to optimize routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Verify delivery details and obtain proper signatures while maintaining accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain professional appearance and represent SwiftRoute Logistics with integrity
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on traffic and delivery priorities
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent familiarity with local geography
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs during deliveries
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and basic GPS navigation systems
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for real-time communication
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends (minimum 20 hours/week)
