Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages, food, and documents across designated NYC routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical safety
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Report traffic incidents, accidents, or route disruptions immediately
- Assist with inventory management and package sorting at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- NYC commercial driving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
